New York Giants
The Giants (1-5 SU, 2-4 ATS) got overwhelmed in their emphatic 34-13 Week 6 loss against Carson Wentz and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles last weekend. New York was clearly overmatched in every way, except for superstar rookie running back Saquon Barkley that is.
While Eli Manning was under pressure from the outset and harassed into a discouraging 24 of 43 passing day for 281 yards with no touchdowns and one interception, Barkley was a one-man highlight reel in rushing for 130 yards and one touchdown on just 13 carries while adding nine receptions for an additional 99 yards to narrowly miss out on becoming the first player in franchise history with a 100-yard rushing and receiving performance in the same game.
“We didn’t do anything well enough to win tonight,” Giants coach Pat Shurmur said. “Credit Philadelphia. Good football team.”
The game played Over the 45-point total one week after the G-Men played Over a 43.5-point total against Carolina.

Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons (2-4 SU,2-4 ATS) got past Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-29 in a wild shootout last weekend in a game that played Over the 57-point total. Matt Ryan passed for 355 yards and three touchdowns in the win and the Falcons held on to stop a furious comeback attempt to avoid their first 1-5 start since 2007.
“It was all hands on deck,” Atlanta coach Dan Quinn said.
Atlanta has played Over the total in five straight heading into Week 7.

Expert Pick and Prediction
If you’re thinking the 54-point total for this contest looks a bit high, I wouldn’t worry about it at all, the Falcons and Giants look like near locks to top this total if you ask me. While the Under is 9-4 in New York’s last 13 games, the Over has been a virtual lock for a Falcons team that is scoring – and giving up points – like they’re going out of style this season. The Over is 5-0 in Atlanta’s last 5 games, 4-0 in their last 4 home games, 11-1-1 in their last 13 games against a team with a losing record and 7-1 in their last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record. I like the Over here and you should too!
