The Green Bay Packers were founded in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on August 11, 1919.

Establishment and History

• Paul Hornung was a halfback who played for the Packers from 1957 to 1966 and helped them win four NFL titles, including the first and second Super Bowls. He was also the most valuable player in the NFL in 1961, and in 1986, he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Head Coaches

Both teams have played each other in memorable playoff games, like the “Ice Bowl” in 1967, when it was -13°F (-25°C) when the game started. With only seconds left, Bart Starr sneaked in as quarterback to win the game for the Packers, 21–17.
