Chicago at Green Bay

🏟️: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI

🎰: Green Bay Packers -7 -115 | -320 | U 47½ -110

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be essential for the Packers this season, as they begin their climb up the NFC North. A-Rod’s team is a massive favorite this time around, thanks to a strong line-up that mixes powerful keys with some unusually good rookie talent. Green Bay took 3 victories vs. the Bears during their last 3 encounters, and despite a new Chicago ensemble that includes fresh-off-the-pick QB Mitch Trubinsky and newcomer’s head coach Matt Nagy, the Bears have an uphill battle ahead of them.

Double Action

Packers are leading the preferences of sports action pundits, currently listed at -7.5 spread, courtesy of our dear sports-betting moguls at YOUWAGER.eu, and the O/U sits at 47½ points. Everything points to a certain straight-up win for the Packers, however, taking the neg. points on Green Bay might not be the wisest choice. The Packers have been trailing on the Against the Spread record as of late (7-9 ATS). On the other hand, Khalil Mack’s team has fared slightly better in the same category, with a 9-6-1 ATS score.

Double Action

My Prediction: If you can afford it, take the Packers on the money line; the cost may be high but the odds are definitely on your favor. You can also put your faith on Nagy & Friends, by purchasing the Plus points on Chicago instead. Both teams are pretty even in terms of total average points scored (ranging between 19-22 points) with Packers at the top count.

Los Angeles Rams at Oakland Raiders

🏈: Los Angeles Rams at Oakland Raiders (Monday Night Football)
⏰: Mon. Sep 10, 2018 10:20 PM ET
🏟️: Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA
📺: ESPN
🎰: Los Angeles Rams -4 -110 | -210 | O 48½ -110

The late Monday match between the Rams and Raiders is the cause of very split opinions by handicappers; while some believe that Mack’s trading may have been a big mistake on the part of Oakland, others think that Jon Gruden’s team might be able to pull off an upset win and make a mess out of LA’s new and untested line-up. The Rams are back after a pretty decent 2017 season, and they seem to have the correct pieces to make an impact on their season opener, as long as they learn to work well together.

Double Action

According to our pals at YOUWAGER.eu, the Rams are still on the lead with a -4½ spread, and the total isn’t moving away from a stable 44½ O/U, but the question remains: can LA cover the points? Maybe not. Straight Up-wise, the Rams have emerged victorious twice during their last 3 games with the Raiders, and they’ve managed to beat the spread 9 times during their last 17 matches. It will be pretty darn hard for Oakland to get any points past LA’s defense, with the likes of Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald blocking the way on the tackle.

Double Action

My Prediction: don’t put all your eggs on Rams just yet; it’s probably best if we wait for the Raiders to show us what they can do. Nevertheless, if you must make a choice, Jared Goff’s team is still the strongest bet of the two. Oakland’s defense is clearly susceptible and Carr will need all the help he can get to make ends meet.
