The Rams have won three straight and are seeking to lock down first place in the race for first place in the NFC playoffs. Los Angeles comes into this contest off a convincing 30-16 win over Detroit on Sunday as a 10.5-point road favorite. Superstar running back Todd Gurley rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns to lead the way to victory while Jared Goff passed for 207 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
“We’re in a position right now that we feel good about,” coach Sean McVay said. “If we take care of our business, all the rest of that stuff takes care of itself.”
Defensive tackle Aaron Donald added two sacks in the win and now L.A. is looking to make another statement against a team they could see in the playoffs.
“We’re not satisfied yet,” Donald said. “But we’re headed in the right direction.”

The Bears managed to get the game to overtime by outscoring the Giants 13-3 in the fourth quarter, but they couldn’t finish and saw their effort go out the window on Aldrick Rosa’s 44-yard game winner in overtime.
“I’m proud of them for fighting to the end. Not every team will do that,” Bears coach Matt Nagy said. “We’ve got a bunch of high-character guys that will fight till the end and that’s a credit to them. We’ve got to figure out how to learn from this. This is part of that callus that goes on.”

For this week 14 matchup, I’m going to advise you to play the Under 51.5 total points even if that isn’t the most popular pick. I know the Rams can put 30 points on the board in their sleep more often than not and I also know that Chicago can now put their own fair share of points on the board under offensive-minded head coach Matt Nagy.
However, I’m also thinking about that old saying that if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. Los Angeles shut down Detroit a week ago and Chicago’s Mitch Trubisky could be rusty after missing last week’s game because of a lingering shoulder injury. Aaron Donald is playing out of his mind right now and Khalil Mack is as well for Chicago.
The Bears have limited five of their last six opponents to 22 points or less and they’ve got as good of a chance of dealing with L.A.’s explosive offense as anyone. While most of the key trends surrounding these two teams seem to suggest an over the outcome, the Under is 5-1 in Chicago’s last six games in December and 6-2 in the Bears’ last eight games following a straight up loss.
