Philadelphia has been an inconsistent mess all season long. The Birds had their modest two-game winning streak snapped in their 29-23 overtime loss to Dallas last weekend while the game’s final score played Over the 45.5-point total.
Carson Wentz passed for 228 yards and three touchdowns and the Eagles scored 17 fourth-quarter points to get the game to overtime. However, Philadelphia had no answer for the combination of Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper who caught all three of Prescott’s TD passes including the game-winner late in overtime.
“Helpless feeling,” Wentz said. “I’ve got a lot of a lot of confidence in the defense. They were making plays today. We just didn’t do enough early offensively and that cost us.”

Chicago’s stout defense harassed quarterback Jared Goff into a career-high four interceptions and held superstar running back Todd Gurley to just 28 rushing yards.
“Really, consistently over and over I continue to put our players in bad spots,” Los Angeles coach Sean McVay said. “Certainly a humbling night, but it’s one you get a chance to look at yourself critically, find a way to get better and move forward accordingly and that’s exactly what we’re going to do and that’s all I know how to do. And I have to be better for our football team. This loss is on me. I didn’t do a nearly good enough job for us today. I trust we will respond the right way.”

With that said, I also believe the Eagles are going to find a way to score their fair share of points as well, even though I just don’t see them beating what looks like a clearly superior Rams team.
The Over is 4-1 in the Rams’ last 5 home games and 7-3 in their last 10 games following a straight up loss. The Over is also 8-0 in Philadelphia’s last 8 games in Week 15 and a seriously consistent 21-6 in their last 27 road games.
I like the Rams to get the ‘W’ but Philly gets the ATS cover in a game that finishes Over the 53.5-point total.
